Updating Firmware on G1100

Hello, I have a CR1000A paired with a Fios extender, however we have a pool house that is still too far away for the Wifi signal to reach. To fix that I pulled out an old G1100 and set it up as a bridge via MoCA and it works great! However I noticed the firmware is pretty outdated on this router. Is there anyway to update this?

No. When WAN does not have a connection, the default route is not populated and therefore no Internet access.

It does not pose a concern with an outdated firmware because the device is not directly Internet facing.
