Why does my Fios Internet NEVER work?

I have had Verizon Fios internet for less than a week, and on average, I have had to restart my router 3 times a day.  In fact, every single morning when I wake up, my internet is completely out.  I have to restart it just for it to work.  And often when it does work, it gives me download speeds less than 5 mbp/s.  So then I have to restart it again and again until it begins to work properly. Mind you, I am paying for gigabit internet.  As a matter of fact, today my download speed was 0.33 mbp/s.  It was actually not working at all when I woke up, as I mentioned.  But after 10 minutes of patience, it gave me 0.33 mbp/s.  A full 3000x slower connection speed than what I am paying for.

Verizon, is this my life now?  Do I just have to lose my mind on a daily basis now?

Tell me about it.  Between the permission, multiple log-in requirements, PIN.  Just accessing your VZW account is enough to make you want to stick you head in a gas oven. Cell service is just as bad . Don’t think I’ve ever had more than 2 bars ever.  If I didn’t need these stupid phones and internet for work, I’d either have a Jitterbug or throw this phone in the lake.

Frequent Fios issues can be due to loose cables, router problems, or outages. Check connections, restart the router.
