Call 1-800-VERIZON they will reset it or replace it.
Do you have a Network light? If you have red Fail light and no Network light then you are not getting a signal from Verizon. Like previous poster said you will need to call up and someone will probably need to come out to fix.
Typical lights should be Power, Battery, Network, Management, and Data or MoCA depending on your connection to the router.
