I received a letter from Verizon last year that said I needed to upgrade my ONT. This ont, my router and faster speed would be free. I recently received a text from Verizon asking me to call for the upgrade. I did because most of my wifes channels stop working. The text said free upgrade but nothing about a 2 year contract. Verizon is back to its old tricks again renewals always cost me in the past. I lost my free DVR for life, free set top boxes + more last renewal.
