7100 set top box led too bright

Is there a way to dim the led on the front of this box. It is way too bright in the bedroom. It keeps me awake at night.

Black electrical tape works very well.

The update of the IMG to 1.7 includes an option for the display to be OFF when the STB is shut down.  Other than that there are no options avaiable (other than tape as suggested above)..
