Comedy Central HD

Recently Comedy Central started broadcasting in HD. Directv offeres this, as well as Cablevision. This channel is probably one of the most anticipated channels and it would be great if Verzion Fios would add the channel to its lineup. Verizon still needs to compete with other providers, and it seems that some of them are starting to catch up with their channel lists. Please add this channel. Thank you

Could not agree more. That's the only reasy I'm still with DirecTV, which I can not stand otherwise.

Dish has announced plans and Directv has had it for awhile. It's already overdue on Fios. Hurry up!

Just a quick note, I emailed the head of comunications of Comedy Central a week before they planned their initial release, and i can confirm that fios does havea deal with them. So Fios will have it this year, I just dont know when.

This is from the email i got from Tony Fox of Comedy Central on 01/26/2009

Joe, Comedy Central does have an HD deal with Fios, which is expected to
launch the service sometime this Spring.  Thanks for your patience.

I'm assuming that the "subscription" requiremenet is actually that you must have the extreme package to get it. Otherwise, not sure what the issue is as I can tune it just fine.
