DVR Record/Watch Simultaneously

Question

Can someone please clarify the ability for a DVR to record two programs, while I am watching a third program? I am seeing information about this but it seems my QIP-7232 does not allow me to do this. I can record two programs at the same time, but I can only watch one of the two being recorded.

If you are recording two shows at once, you can only watch one of those live, but you can watch a previously recorded show while two are recording.
