Every time a severe thunder storm hits my area my set top box tv output goes out and all trouble shooting measures will not bring it back. The internet and digital voice phone service is not affected, only the HDMI feed to the tv. This has happened 3 times with the QIP-7100-2 boxes and again yesterday with an Aris VMS-1100 replacement. Can't Verizon come up with a box insensitive to EMI and intermittent voltage fluctuations? This will be the 5th box replaced in 3 years.
