FIOS TV New Voice Control

I understand that Verizon has a new voice control for the TV. I am looking for comments from people who currently use it. Is the only real benefit the talking feature to change channels or are there any other benefits? Is there any down side to adding this features?

One thing I have read is that the new remote does not have all the same buttons as the old remote.

You can continue to use a old remote for those features.

BTW, you have to upgrade to the latest STB to get the new voice remote.
