Nothing yet...FSC HD went live today 1/28 but not on fios yet...spoke to a FIOS tech today they "do not have any info on FSC HD or FSC+ yet"...lets hope Setanta just becomes FSC+!
For a comapny as big as Verizon, they should have had it scheduled for deployment. Unless Fox is to blame here. They first announced they were going to deploy it way back in August, and I can't imagine they were would deploy it without negotiating with a top cable provider such as Verizon FIOS.

It was created in order to see what our customers want as far as channels are concerned. Just post on there your request for FSC HD. The "right" people do look at this forum. Unfortunately nothing is guaranteed.

Now the Comcast has added FSC HD, Verizon better respond, as MANY of us will make the switch just to see "The Beautiful Game", as it is suppose to be seen, in glourious HD!
I can t believe COMCAST AND DISH have beaten Verison FIOS to this... I thought Verizon was the best provider.

Don't agree with your choice of team (Blackburn fan here!) but I'm 100% with you on this, FSC is the only channel on my TV when the wife ain't watching it and i've already started looking at Dish and Direct.... Verizon, seriously, please don't mess this up, and let the soccer fans have what they crave!
Two concerns:
1. I'm not watching FSC in HD.
2. Verizon has decided to ignore the fact that FSC is now in HD. Give us something. "We are negotiating with FSC", "We will not be providing FSC HD", "We will launch on (insert date)"

DirecTV announced today they will have FSC HD starting Wednesday...time for Verizon to throw some info or it's time to switch to DirecTV.

I've noticed a "FSC HD" on the screen when I'm watching Channel 84, but nothing is in HD. Could did just mean that it is close?

A lot of Verizon FiOS loyal customers are waiting to hear the good news about FSC HD and FSC Plus. So, any technician and/or management team person of Verizon should have some words about this. Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

As I noted in another thread, DIRECTTV will not have this on Wednesday.
So apparently Verizon does carry FSC+, though it's subscription only at this point: Sports Subscription Packages.
But $14.99 is way too steep for me.
I'm already paying an additional $9.99 to get GolTV.
Why don't they make a soccer package! I'm not going to pay $14.99 in addition to the $9.99, but I might pay $14.99 for all soccer channels....
Ginge, I feel your frustration but I just left D* for Fios. I would never go back. Fios is so much better! Give it some time, I think Vz. will step up to the plate and deliver FSC-HD.

Verizon is really dropping the ball on this... I pay over $300 and i think they completely ignore these forums.... they dont give any news.. nothing. silence. The demand for FSC in HD is HUGE !!!!!!! come on, Verizon, what is the freaking hold up??? you have Wealth Tv in HD (and other complete crap in HD. I mean Fishing? unreal).

Has anyone heard when if FIOS going to add Fox Soccer in High Definition? The channel has been available for some time now I think. I'm told by Verizon they watch these blogs, really the only way to "register" a vote for them to add it. Please register your vote, and get others to do so... No offense to any anglers, but I think there may be more fishing shown in high definition!
I have not heard s0ccer1............but I must say they need to add it ASAP..............there is no other way to watch sports now but inHD do the right thing Verizon

I'm convicned that Verizon are about to find a way to completely screw the consumer (again!). After the WC, I suspect that FSC and Fox Soccer Plus will become their own add-on package for the wonderful price of $29.99 a month. Only THEN will they actually make the HD programming available. After all - why give away a HD channel for "free" as part of the sports package when you can bundle it with another offering and double your money by making the customer pay for the Sports package AND the Soccer package ...
Well I recently swtiched from com{please keep your posts courteous} to FIOS hoping to get more since FIOS comes out to me as technologically way way more advance. but to my surprise there is no FSC HD or GOL TV HD. these are the only 2 source of soccer in the USA.. if they are talking about removing some HD channels before adding new ones, i suggest getting rid of OUTDOOR HD!!

Looks like people have been requesting FSC HD and FSC+ HD for a while now. I chatted with support today and they sent me to the forum to request it but it does not look like it is doing any good. I already pay a lot extra for FSC+ (non-HD). I think I may cancel it until they get it in HD.Since ESPN2 HD picked up a few more games i can catch them there. They look so much better that FSC does on verizon.
Hard to watch the low res and see the HD symbol in the corner the whole game. I don't want to pay more for it in HD either.

For what it's worth the fiostv twitter guy has now said FSCHD is #3 on their to-do list.

Been waiting 8-9 Months. **USED** to think Verizon FIOS was the best.
Not anymore. ALL other providers have Fox Soccer Channel in actual HD, and FIOS has dragged their feet for 9 months. There are dozen of worthless HD channels (Wealth TV anyone?), and they can't bring soccer (the worlds most popular game) to HD? Even just one channel. They are the worst. I keep checking into see when my contract is up to see if I can switch out to comcast or dish.... FIOS is a huge disappointment.
Yes, bring FSC HD already, come on Verizon...don't know about others but in my area FSC SD looks actualy worse than most other SD channels...it's pretty much unwatchable on a larger LCD panel...this is really lame at this point..might have to re-think my providers if nothing is getting done soon.
It's an outrage that the most popular sport in the world cannot be seen in FSC, FSC+ or GOLTV in HD on FIOS when they claim to be an industry leader. It's especially exasperating when watching a soccer match and the network is proudly displaying "HD" as part of its logo, but Verizon can't seem to make it actually happen. One would have hoped that with ESPN2 regularly broadcasting EPL matches in HD, that Verizon would get the hint. If something doesn't happen soon, I'm gonna jump ship.
Well I think there is no reason to be frustrated anymore. It seems that everything is moving according to plan at Verizon. I still don't understand why most of the information is kept secret but based on what I get from Joe on Twitter. FSC HD is#2 on the list to be added and GOLTV HD is in the next group of 6. If I understand it correctly it will be at some point in Q1. FSC+ HD is not in the immediate plans so we will still have to put up with it in SD and pay 14.99. Funny thing is that I noticed that both Cablevision and Time Warner in New York area offer FSC+ as part of their sports pack package and charge in the range of $7 for the pack that includes all the other sport channels similar to FIOS sports pack so I am not sure why we are still paying 14.99 for it.
As upsetting as it is to wait so long for our channels I think we have to realize that FIOS stands out from the rest by offering cutting edge technology and they continue to invest and roll out new things all the time which slows down on the new channel availability.
Hope you are right about getting FSC-HD in first quarter. I won't hold my breath. My father-in-law in Fla. gets FS+ in HD. He pays $3 per month.
Fox Soccer in Q1? I kinda doubt it. There is so much garbage in HD I find it laughable that the World's most popular game gets this kind of treatment. Imagine the uproar if Wealth HD got bumped in favor of Fox Soccer. Criminal to charge 15 bucks for + when Dolan only extracts 7 bucks for the same. And they throw in Gol as well. Let's go Verizon.
