FiOS Availability in my area

NorthSky tore up our neighborhood and lawns and installed fiber for FiOS in my community about two months ago. The Verizon Address check does not show availability as of yet and if there anyway to get an ETA on when the fiber is going to get lite up? I am a Comcast triple play customer and can't wait to get rid of it since I work out of my house with my IPT Phone and Video and really need some stable and ample bandwidth.

It took about 6 months from the time the fiber went in until the service was offered in our neighborhood.

I'm sure Verizon has an installation schedule somewhere but it probably won't be shared with the public. If TV service requires a franchise in your area, then you might check with the agency that regulates the franchise as they may know something.
