Grandfathered TV Programs

One year ago I renewed my contract with Fios with the Triple Play option. The TV service I selected was TV Custom Essentials.
Recently, I noticed I get fewer channels. Upon asking Service I was told that this plan had been "grandfathered".
Has anyone else experienced this issue and have you lost TV stations? I tried talking with people in Support and was not satisfied with their answer that stations may be removed from the plan.

According to the terms of service, FIOS (like most other cable companies) can add or remove content from your plan throughout the life of your contract.
