Half-Fast commercial in poor taste

Am I the only one who thinks that the latest Verizon commercial about the faster internet speeds is in poor taste. Everyone in the commercial may be saying Half-fast, but it certainly doesn't sound like that, and I don't think that it is "cute" in any way. I am so angry about it that if I didn't have another year left on my contract, I would change providers for my tv, phone and internet. But that would mean I would have to give Verizon, even more money an I refuse to do that.

I personally could care less. I find all commercials annoying only I don't get my panties in a bunch over them. I just change the channel (or if it is a DVRed show, fast forward).

I could care less about a commercial. What I care about is how good my service is.

I walked into the room while the ad was on... not at a time to know it was about Fios until the end. These new ads should not be on TV! Especially the one that I just saw... with the children. Verizon needs to change the name of the new process. Ads that sound like curse words should not be on TV! As a child I was not allowed to say "shut up".

Its scientifically proven that children will inevitably say curse words, whether they learn from their parents, what on TV, or not. That say...the commecial is more terrible....than in poor taste......actually...poor taste never crossed my mind. Lighten up!

Wow have you actually watched any of your TV channels channels? You know they curse on many , some show nudity and there are even gay and pornographic channels.

You might want to consider canceling your TV service and move into a cave

It may be true that tv shows and movies shown in primetime have curse words in them, but not spoken by children. And to have children complaining about the quality of their Christmas presents is beyond bad taste. You can call it a pun or play on words or whatever, but the fact is those kids are complaining about their presents. What kind of degenerate, cynical, amoral advertising company would even make such a commercial for Christmas? Where is the FCC when they really ARE needed?

I'm thinking that those who aren't offended by this commercial are either not married, don't have or like kids or are too young to care. Frankly, the parents should have said, "you don't like your presents, fine. Give em' back and go buy your own...with your own money." These are the kinds of examples our social system provides impressionable children. And it's why there are so many incorrigible ones these days. They know they can get away with almost anything.

This isn't taking into consideration the hundreds of thousands of teenagers whose parents can't afford to buy them laptops, smartphones or tablets for Christmas. Imagine what they must feel watching tv kids complaining about the quality of their expensive tv presents. What a society we have created.

Who cares what they did or said in a commercial? There are far more important things to worry about in life then what Verizon did or didn't do in a commercial. Here's a question. When you watch a tv show or a movie do you take all of that persoanlly as well when they do something that you think isn't appropriate?

The adults might be saying "half fast," but the kids certainly are not. I agree this commercial is in poor taste--and am disappointed, asboth a Verizon subscriber and stockholder, that Verizon would run it.

i've been a verizon subscriber for more than 30 years now

in that time, i've seen countless advertisements touting your service

however your latest tv campaign is absolutely REPUGNANT

i'm referring to the "half fast" download commercials

not only isnt this funny but its downright idiotic

children are watching these commercials and are picking up on the half fast theme

can someone please explain why this garbage is allowed to permeate our airwaves?
