My Set Top Box Won't Power On

All our equipment works except the set top box. We've unplugged it and plugged it back in but there it still won't power on. Yes, we have the TV turned on. Is the set top box dead? Is there anything else we can try?

We have another set top box and TV in another room and they work fine.

Try moving the working one to the "bad" location and see if it boots and powers up. It is possible that the COAX is bad at that location and the box won't authorize without a proper connection. If that's not the case then it is a bad box.

The box will still power on with out a coax connected no need to do that. Make sure the outlet has power. Try the box at another power outlet see if it does anything. If no power there then you need to contact verizon at 888-553-1555, and tell them box has no power. Tell them what you did to make you call shorter.
