Any way to clarify the VHO #'s for that chart?? There are 3 separate PA's listed. Personally, I can figure it out, but it may be confusing to others...

I figured it out. The VHO's are in numerical order.

I agree with Matcarl! Anytime you get info about stuff like this that you can pass on - please do! I had wondered when North Texas might get NHL HD and now I know it'll be next week. I'm assuming the MLB Network will be a barker channel until it goes live on 1/1/09

Seeing as how I have been a FiOS TV customer since 11/11, I was getting bored with the HD channels. Robot wink I was hoping for some more.

No, that's not what psumatt meant. Don't put the VHO numbers instead of the state, not many people know the numbers. He saw 3 different PA's and wanted to know the difference between them, but numbers would be more confusing.

By the way, I Kudoed that by mistake, I meant to Kudo your original post not the VHO one, sorry.

Virginia is tricky, there are two or three areas that are on his list that cover parts of Virginia and Maryland.

Its pending for that NBA League pass no ETA yet

These channel launches will be done on a rolling schedule. The expectation is that this launch will continue with a VHO by VHO deployment from 11/13/2008 thru end of January. Additional notifications will be sent as VHO’s launch

sooooo NBA League pass latest looks like end of Jan but its not set in stone

The rest of the country pays $10/mo more(with the sports channels) then you for the same channels. At least you have the option to take or not take the sports channels. The rest of us don't have that option.

Got 86, 87, and 587.WOO HOO!!! NHL HD!!!!!!

Issues on 587 with some pixelation and audio dropout. It is very choppy right now.

but still no 899 and 920 out here on So Cal.

850 shows in the Guide with Program Data, and I can not tune it.

UPDATE guys MLB Extra Innings / NHL Center Ice HD have been postponed. There is no ETA only for those channels. I apologize but we'll get them for you soon.

Techman: what are you talking about? Center Ice HD is on channel 1474 and has been available for several weeks. I think people were asking about NBA League Pass maybe?

I'm VHO14 - Harrisburg, PA. The NHL Network SD and HD (87 and 587) were released to my market today. However, both channels come up unavailable immediately, and then after a couple of seconds say you are not subscribed to this channel. I have the HD extreme package, so these should be working. Also, same thing with the NHL Center Ice HD channel that was just released, channel 1474. And I subscribe to Center Ice.

I unplugged the box to reset it, but that didn't work.

I am in Henrico VA and PPV HD 1001 shows up on the guide, but always says "Off Air" what is that all about? Did this area not get the PPV HD yet?

Asking because the schedule looks like it shoulda already be deployed here and like I said, it does show up in the guide but with no information.

it is possible that they aren't broadcasting but I can look at that first thing in the morning.

It always says OFF AIR because there is very rarely anything on it. Maybe a wrestling match or boxing once every two weeks.

I would at least think something would display on HD PPV, some kind of information other then "Off-Air". But like you said, maybe that's normal?

Well, as matcarl said, and FIOS Tech support also informed me today, that you will see "Off Air" / No programming Info unless there is a HD PPV sponsored event. So just because it's on PPV does not mean it's in HD PPV. That I did not fully understand, now i do :smileyhappy:

Techman: I'm on Long Island, NY, with compitition from Cablevision. I have triple play with HBO & Movies, very happy with FIOS for over 2 years. There is one issue that everyone seems to be dancing around, and that is MSNBC in areas that Cablevision serves. I even went as far as complain to the FCC about Cablevision. To my surprise, Cablevision called me.....AND LIED TO MY FACE!!! I asked: "When will your exclusive contract with MSNBC expire?" to which I was told: "We have no exclusive contract, Verizon is holding back". While I tried just to get an answer, I felt as if I was going against city hall. I finally just gave up. I hopeful that once the exclusive MSNBC distribution contract ends (and I'm sure there is one), FIOS will be in a position to start broadcasting. Heck, MSNBC is in almost all other territories. I know that FIOS is in court with Cablevision for the rights to broadcast MSG-HD. Considering how bad the Knicks are, this is no great loss. So after this long winded babble....Do you have any idea as to when the Cablevision-MSNBC exclusive contract may be ending??

Why doesn't Fios have MSNBC? MSNBC should be added to the channel line-up.

Assuming you are in a Cablevision area you cannot get it since there is a some deal between MSNBC and Cablevision. I am in a Comcast area so I have it. I can not get an answer as to when Verizon will be able to carry MSNBC in Cablevision areas.
If you are not in a Cablevision area then dunno.

I live in, a Cablevision area (came from Cablevision) . I was also a Dish Network customer. Dish had MSNBC, Fios does not, SOMEONE is lying.

This must be on a Regional basis because I pretty much stay glued to it. I'm in the Seattle area. otoh - mayhaps I'm watching an MSBC wannabe?
