No FFWD REW on some ON DEMAND shows

I am so fed up with the fact that some of the on demand shows will not allow for FastFW or Rewind in the shows. Miss something that was said? To bad you can not go back and replay. Dose off while watching a show and miss the last 15 min of a 2 hour show? Well you will have to let the whole show run again with out fast forward to catch the last 15 min.

What a waste of a once great feature of FIOS TV. Come on Verizon give us better service not less...........

Your beef is not with Verizon. It is the progam providers (like ABC) that are insisting on the disabling of the controls.

More and more content providers are making this a condition of carriage. Content providers have the choice of (a) adding this content without the ability to FF or REW, or (b) not adding it at all. The same conditions apply to all providers.

Look for this practice to become more and more common over the next 2-3 years. If you want to skip commercials on these programs, you'll need to record them to your DVR.
