Remote control is dead

I got the Philip remote control for FIOS TV. Suddently it is dead. I replaced the fresh battery (2 separate sets) with no result. None of the button light up. Is there a reset code or anything to make it works or should I call it for replacement? Does Verizon charge anything to replace the remote control?

They don't charge for the replacement of a STB so I would imagine the remote would be the same.

Yes, just call Support and they will send one for free. I had one remote die and searched the whole site and never found anything on it, but when I called they said they replace it for free, up to 2 IIRC. If you wanted extras, you can always go to ebay - I haven't tried them, but they look the same.
