I know this is at least a 2 yr old question, but did Verzon ever come up with a fix to programming their remotes to work with Proscan televisions?
Verizon has not had a new remote for at least 2 years. So most probably no updates.
I got fios back in december 2017 and I got fios remote to work with my proscan no issues just used the code search option for programming and it worked on second try
