Tv picture fails to come on

Question

in last week am having problem when i turn on TV and STB i get audio but no video

i have had to disconnect my DVR set top box then reconnect wait for the box to reboot then turn TV and Set top on then audio and video are on.

is there a problem with the DVR box  and or remote ?

Actually in my experience this can actually be the result of your video connection between the TV and the STB. THhis mostly seems to happen with HDMI cables. Try replacing the cable to see if it helps.
