Verizon Fios One wireless connection

I want to upgrade my Fios plan to the Verizon Fios One to minimize cable routing to my three TV’s. Surprisingly the main TV must be connected via coax and the others can be connected via WIFI.

My question is why can’t all the TV’s be connected via WIFI?

Is the coax required because the WIFI cant handle the multiple TV’s?

Does the TV's video content communicate via the router WIFI or the Mini's WIFI or both?

Mini STBs can communicate with the main STB via the coaxial cable infrastructure, Ethernet cable infrastructure or a Wi-Fi connection to an extender that is connected to the Ethernet infrastructure. The two boxes don't connect directly to each other like a Bluetooth connection.

Of the three methods, a hard-wired connection is preferred.

The main unit, which contains the tuners of the STB system, uses the coaxial cable to receive the signal from the ONT. It also receives updates and various administrative tasks via the coaxial cable connection to the Fios router.

The mini-STBs can communicate with the main STB via coaxial cable, Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi.

Thank you for the clear respsone. How far can my additional two TV's be from the main STB to communcate wirelseely ? since I probably cannot get an extender for the STBs wireless.network,
