Why cant Verizon provide us with the African NEtwork channels

We need more diversity within the channels.
I want Caribean and African Channel Selections, like I had with Optimum
Verizon. get with the program.

You kidding? verizon cant even give us all the nba league pass games in HD! I agree with you they need to add more diversity,and i have a feeling the will eventully,It just takes time to get contracts and to have room to add channels to their system.

I have many friends from africa cant wait to have african channel from verizon fios lineup in south new jersey area.
Please verizon bring us some african channel we will pay $10 or more to watch Mali, senegal, Ivory cost channel...

Enough people show interest and they might add it. Normally international channels are a harder sell, but at least Verizon show more interest in adding some since they will get additional income. Now try and get some small national channel to existing packages is a impossible sell.

Cable providers have a fixed cost to connect to a content provider. Plus it takes up a slot that is limited. So they all have to decide if it makes business sense for any content they wish to provide.
And like any business, they want to make a profit as well.

If they can't squeeze an extra $50 out of you by doing so, you aren't going to get your Africa channel. It's ALL about money- screw the customer, get dollars.
