Anway to limit Wifi speed of Fios Mobile TV App?

I run around 7 devices in my household that use the Fios TV App and overall like it. The only issue I have is the amount of bandwidth the App uses with some of my devices. Most of my devices it only uses like 3-5Mb/s which mimics most of the other apps that offer live streaming. However on my Moto G phone the App is  almost using 10Mb/s which is overkill for a phone with just a 6.8 inch screen as even 2Mb/s would be enough. I've checked the Fios TV app settings and see nothing limit the bandwidth and does anyone have other ideas or maybe a setting I am missing in the app?

thanks

Look in the Android settings for the app. there may be a bandwidth limiting option.

The real question is why does using the Fios Mobile TV App use Internet bandwidth and count against your max speed. Just like VOD for the boxes does not use Internet bandwidth speed (It has its own bandwidth that does not use your Internet bandwidth) the Fios Mobile TV App should be the same.

Because the app is using WiFi for data transfer and the Fios boxes  use a direct connection for their video feed that does not rely on the internet connection. You answered your own question.
