DVR malfunctioning

Last week all the recordings on our DVR disappeared overnight. Upcoming series and scheduled recordings were still there. After (supposedly) completing several new recordings, when trying to play any of them we get an error saying "Unable to play the selected program. Please try again later." Above the list of recordings, it says the DVR is 0% full. Finally, today we realized we can't rewind/skip live TV. Oddly, if I sign into our account online and go to Manage Your DVR, it says it is 36% full, which is where it was before all the recordings disappeared last week.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

Could be the hard drive in the DVR flaking out. Check with support and see if they can possibly restore your content.

Support wasn't able to restore the recordings or any of the DVR functions. They sent a replacement unit.

One of the reasons DVRs have gone to cloud storage instead of local hard drives.
