In having Verizon Fios TV installed in less than a week, there are many issues not being addressed. Now, the TV keeps shutting off or rather a screen is showing with numbers whereby the picture is missing. A picture is enclosed showing the "latest" problem. It would be nice to receive an answer as I'm on hold with VERIZON for over 30 minutes. Yesterday it was one hour before Verizon answered the phone!

"Had no idea you were trying to go to SD from HDMI signal. The Fios and most HD boxes require HDCP 2.0 or higher to work. My guess is that converter box is not compliant, probably only HDCP 1.4".
* Thanks very much, if that is the case. That facet is and was unknown to me. I believe you may be correct regarding the HDCP. My delving into that subject, including reading a lot of white papers brought me to that conclusion and you cemented that fact.
* So, I'm out of business with trying to merge an SD or Analog TV to the Verizon Wireless Streaming Box and as you state it is only HDMI 1.4. Well, that is a one-way transmission cable for certain. That is why I received "No Signal" when trying the three male RCA to HDMI ( HDCP 1.4). I wish Verizon would have clarified that fact prior to installing FIOS. That's why the techs kept telling me to buy a new Hi-Def TV> "Will NOT". Thank you very much for the courtesy and exceptional support.

That looks like a screen generated by the TV to pair with blutooth. It may be trying to link with the Fios box or the Fios remote. Use the suggested PIN#, or if you changfed it sometime use the correct PIN for the TV.

There is "no" suggested Pin as you make mention of. The wording specifically states Samsung 'not' Sanyo.

That message is NOT generated by the Fios box. They have nothing to do with Samsung. I suggest you try one of the default PINs and see what happens. Maybe a neighbor got a Samsung TV that is trying to pair and your TV picked it up. You could also try disabling Blutooth on the Sanyo TV.

Well, Verizon rebooted the system and I have not seen that error again. My sister has a Samsung TV .

Is your sisters TV in the same home? Rebooting the box may have stopped it from trying to pair with her TV.

First Question: No
* There is sporadic freezing at long intervals, minor pixilation ;seldom, and 'freezing' upon startup.

What Fios equpment do you have? Do you have legacy boxes, or newer 4100 series units, or the newest streamboxes?

Looks like you have the new stream boxes. Hate to say it, but so far there are a few issues that haven't yet been addressed with those as they are brand new to Fios. There is very little experience so far with those, myself included so I suggest contacting support directly at "X" or https://www.dslreports.com/forum/vzdirect.

* I did establish an account as that website is just horrible, apparently located overseas. Here is the link of my initial post I made. However, I could not attach any photos as they would 'not' allow me to: no idea why. I did post a Vimeo link of the issue. If you would like to see the post, you'll have to establish an account; easy. Here is the Link of my post:

** I would not even waste my time going back to that forum again. In fact, that DSL forum has IM to receive a reply or email which I provided "About 20 years behind times".

Hello Slick,
You provided me a DSL website, "About 30 years ago, not 20 as previously stated. Here is the reply I received.
"This forums supports Verizon DSL & Fios accounts. It sounds like you need help from Verizon Wireless. They can be reached at 800.922.0204".
I can see that there is no knowledge at this forum either.

That is a current link. It goes directly to support, maybe you could try Verizon on "X".
Who is Slick BTW?

I can see the video.
Clem said it when he mentioned that the 4100P2 is so new that knowledge about it outside of Verizon employees is limited.
My guess is that the unit is defective. ๐ค
