Fios remote question

Hi all, just bought a new Hisense U8K with Google TV.  Trying to use only one remote.  If I use the Fios remote, I can can change channel/volume/input on the TV but once I switch over to Google TV it does nothing.  On the Hisense remote, I can control volume/input and the Google TV but cannot change channel on Fios broadcast.  Any suggestions?

Unfortunately I believe the Fios remote can only control basic functions on other equipment. Volume, and input control are about it for 3rd party equipment. You would need the TV's remote to be able to learn or control the Fios box to do what you want. Check into the Hisense instructions to see if you have a programmable or learning remote for your TV. If not you may need to buy a universal remote to control everything.
