Here (south jersey) and now (2021) I'm having these exact problems with NBC Sports Philadelphia channel 576 screen freezes and pixilation for 4 consecutive days and counting. Paying over $200 per month including sports fees and severely poor quality. Had to just turn off tv's (2).
Every connection is tight and serivces reset thru Verizon.
C'mon man! Whywhathow is this ever going to be resolved?

The direct shot is a temporary test. If the pixelation is resolved, then, the OP would need to look at the run from the ONT to the splitter due to multiple devices are experiencing the same problem. 🤔
If the problem remains, Verizon would need to investigate as the ONT on back would be the common points.

Could be a bad splitter, or transmission problem in the area. If you can check with one of your neighbors and see if they have the same problem it would eliminate the transmission problem theory.

To test the existing infrastructure, would it be possible to run a temporary coax cable directly from the ONT to one of the STBs to see if the problem clears? 🤔

Coax normally goes to splitter first, one leg going to the router to setup MoCa network and provide viewing data and DVR services, the other to supply programming to the STB. You could try running straight to the STB to test the transmission and the infrastructure, but you won't be able to get any programming info that way.

The transmission is all screwed up at the end of the game. Missed the last batter. Next thing we saw was the team leaving the field. This happens all the time.
