Don't know if this is the proper board, but here goes.
Had Fios installed about a month ago after 42 years with Cablevision. Anyway, everything worked okay for a while, then I had to start reprogramming the remote to my TV. That worked a couple of times, but now it just doesn't seem to take. The volume & mute "work" after the prompt to push the OK button during pairing, indicating success, but after the"OK exit" prompt is pushed, I can't unmute or change the volume w/o the TV remote.

That didn't work. So, after the usual ways, I tried the 'enter your TV model number' as was prompted, and it's working...for now.
Thanks again

If you tried removing the batteries for at least 3 minutes and reprogramming and it didn't work, did you try wiping out the programming and reprogramming? If it still has problems, go here and get a new remote:

Hi, thanks for replying.
I tried rebooting the cable box that way, including removing the HDMI cables. No success.
I'll give the remote reboot a try.
