Rewind Stopped Working

Rewind was working all the time for me on the last 2 channels views even when turned of the night before . I could rewind back one hour so I could watch two shows without recording. Now it has stopped working all together and I can't seem to rewind unless i stay on the same channel . What's up with that as that was one of the main features I liked .

So it appears this is happening to others . what does box updated overnight supposed to mean ?  Has something changed with the service ?  I have  tried unplugging  my dvr box  to reset itself but still does not work . Left it on my last channel last night and I  woke up this morning and it won't  let me rewind  this  channel to the previous hour to see what I missed. it used to always work .
