Skip over commercials on DVR

Question

Does FIOS have the ability to fast forward through commercials like Xfinity?  They have a feature called “smart resume” where you can fast forward through commercials on pre recorded programs and it stops when the commercials are over to continue watching.

i know fios didn’t have this in the past but I am hoping that they have gotten better.

I signed up to switch and am hoping I made the right choice..

Unfortunately Fios does not have that feature. You have to fast forward through them. There is no programmable commercial skip.
