Unable to cast on chromecast

Recently i got a chromecast (ChC) for my tv.
I am able to stream myFios to the tv, but then when i turn off/on the tv, i am unable to stream onto the ChC. I would need to either remove the power plug to the ChC or i would have to do a reset through the setting menu.
This is happening with both my apple and samsung device.

When trying to stream from my phone, my screen (on phone) would flash, acts like its about to connect, but never connects to tv.

How do i fix this. I have a CR1000B, if that helps

I know the Fios box never turns off, but if you are streaming you are using a computer or tablet to stream. I can't really figure why the ChC won't release Fios when you end the stream, you could try ending the streaming another way and see if it works, or close the streaming device and see if it releases the ChC.

It's only when I turn off the TV.

It's also weird, since the power (ChC) is connected to wall outlet.

But everytime I turn off/on the tv, i can't stream to ChC until I reset it

Does the problem only happen when you stream from the Fios app, or does it do it regardless of wha tapp you are using to stream?
