Verizon charges $14.99/mo for Fox Soccer Plus and even with a subscription, the channel is SD. Will this change?
How is it decided whether a channel is HD or SD?

Verizon FiOS 1009 (SD onlly)
Thanks, Tom. My question is if DirectTV can offer Fox Soccer Plus on HD, why cannot Verizon? After all Fox Soccer Plus is extra at $14.99/mo.
I just signed up for Fox Soccer Plus channel 1009 in my NY area and noticed it is not in HD either. How can they charge 14.99 and not offer HD. It is really unwatchable in SD on an HD set. I think I will have to cancel unless this is going to be fixed in the near future.
