$250 gift card

I got Fios back in May (The triple play package). I ordered everything through the online chat and was promised a $250 gift card for being a Verizon Wireless customer. I have never received the gift card. I talked to many different representatives both by chat and telephone and no one could explain this to me. They can’t even look up the chat where I purchased the plan and read that the representative told me multiple times there would be a gift card. She even informed me that I could only get the gift card with the triple play purchase as it was not available with double play (which it what I originally wanted).

I even googled the promotion today and it goes back to February. I can literally see the promotion online. It was Phone, Tv, Internet, free HBO for 1 year, free DVR for 2 years, $250 gift card. Yet no one can figure this out... Apparently if the representative screws up and doesn’t put it in the computer, it doesn’t exist for you.

Such a waste of time. Wish I would have read these forums first so I could have been aware that it was a scam!

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and scroll down the page to an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name located above your post, or at the top right of this page.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. The title of your post is the link. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, you may subscribe to the case. At the top right of your support case there is a gear icon which provides a drop down menu with support case options. Click that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
