Our utility is cracked and allowing water into the connections. Verizon has been out 3-4 times in the past week. Each time they are reconnecting the lines and placing the caps on but when it freezes the internet stops working. Who do I contact to have Verizon replace the box? Or stop water from getting inside?
Is this utility box outside and on the ground?
The fiber terminal box should be sealed unless damaged. Fiber is not conductive, so it is not a matter of water shorting out the wires.
