We have a property being Raised and the City requires a release letter from Verizon prior to issuing permits. We submitted the Verizon Demo request Form via Fax as per instructed on 8/28/2024. The owner does not have a Verizon account, but that doesn't mean it isn't possible that lines were there in the past. We still have not heard from Verizon nor received release letter. Spoke with engineering regarding a separate issue and they informed us we needed to speak to customer service. Spoke with customer service and they issued a Ticket# but stated they didn't know if it would be processed due to not having an active account! To date still no release letter. Is there a contact number for the department that takes care for disconnect line release letters for demolition?
