Door to door sales

I've had about 3 different "teams" now come and knock on my door in the last couple weeks, all trying to sell me Verizon internet. Not only do they knock, they knock repeatedly as if it's an emergency. Followed by constant ringing of the doorbell. It drives my dogs nuts. I've told them I'm already a Verizon customer but I'm not interested and please don't come back. Yet they keep coming back. What list do I need to be put on so that I am no longer visited by your Verizon teams?

This just happened to me around 5pm this evening.  The guy pounded on my door AND rang my doorbell repeatedly in quick succession then he started knocking on the side window on my door.  I ran to the door thinking one of my neighbors needed help but no!  It was this guy standing there wearing all black, holding a clipboard and smiling like a weirdo.

I asked who he was and who was he with and he couldn't even answer that immediately.  Then he said, "Verizon" but refused to tell me what he was there for.  I wasn't exactly kind with the way I asked him because at this point he had agitated me.  He refused to tell me his name but I did see he was wearing a badge around his neck saying he was from "Stoic Management".  I told him I was calling the police on him because he was so rude and sketchy and he started mouthing off to me that he's allowed to be there on my property and what did he do wrong and then left when I actually called the police.  He gave me a very creepy feeling like he was casing my house to see if anyone was home.

Who knocks and rings doorbells at the same time if they are from a legitimate company?  Also, who speaks to a potential customer like that?!  I looked up Stoic Management after I called the police.  Stoic Management's phone number goes directly to an unnamed voicemail.  If Verizon is using some company named that, they seriously need to re-evaluate their sales tactics.  Door-to-Door is a stupid strategy in this day and age.  I know myself and most other folks do NOT want door-to-door solicitors.

Long story short, I want to find out who to contact to PLEASE remove me from your door-to-door sales people (if that's actually what this guy was).  I have pets that do not do well with that kind of commotion.  Now I'm worried this guy is going to come back and cause harm.  Is that what Verizon is trying to sell?

Same exact experience today. Banged on door loud and for a long time before repeatedly hitting my bell. Also disturbing my dog and I also already have Verizon internet and mobile!!! There is no reason to be bothering and soliciting to current customers. This makes me want to cancel service because of it obviously being a Verizon standard. It is 2024!! DO NOT SEND PEOPLE TO MY DOOR!!!!

In the past few weeks we have had more than 4 different teams of aggressive salesmen from verizon knocking ferociously on doors and ringing doorbells nonstop and banging on the mailbox. This is such a disturbance for us who have verbalized that we are not interested in becoming verizon customers at this time. It is scaring everyone from little children to elderly people. Please stop continuing to harass people who are not interested. We can all call verizon or look online for deals, if we were truly interested. We do not want to deal with salesmen anymore. We will report to the police if need be, so please take care of this issue ASAP, before the reputation of verizon goes down the drain.
