I cannot redeem the $50 Xbox giftcard

I was able to redeem every other offer. I was given the gift card dept phone number for assistance. All they were able to do is to appease me and give me a $50 Verizon giftcard that can only be used to purchase Verizon products or pay bills. Why would I want that? I want the Xbox card which was offered when I purchase services.
