Old Telephone Pole Falling Over

LongTimeResident

We have an old pole one the edge of our property that is cracked and falling over. It has worsened in the past few months. PSE&G claims it is not their pole - it is a Verizon pole. PSE&G at least came to look at it. Despite numerous calls to Verizon and efforts to report this online, we get nothing but put on hold and bounced from department to department. Today, FIOS called today about completing an install of service, but they did not even know who to refer us to for the falling pole porblem. I was transferred back to a bot, put on hold and connected with no one. The bot did not know where to refer me for assistance either. This is ridiculous - and more importantly - dangerous as the pole could fall in any of these stroms causing personal injury and property damage.
