Hello! I have two old/abandoned GTE phone utility boxes located on my residential property, one on the front curb and one behind the house. I understand that Verizon bought out GTE years ago. Can I submit a request to remove the old boxes? The casing is splitting open and the wires are falling out into shrubs, and I'm worried about them being a fire hazard. The number I was given after calling all around the Verizon world is not picking up - 866.233.3333. Thank you for your time.
