Store staff

While I was waiting to pick up my order at the store the staff was openly talking about things they do or don’t do, basically screwing customers, to make more sales. 
Again I was told they don’t have my order and knew nothing about even though the rep I spoke with on the phone both times assured me my order would be ready to pick that day at that store. 
After hearing the things staff said today i now have to question that they told me they didn’t have my order and knew nothing about because they want to sell the phone themselves to get commission. Especially after telling they don’t have my order is likely because I made order over the phone with representative and  suggested I cancel that order and get the phone from them today as they can provide more help. When I asked how he could help me differently his answer was ridiculous and obvious that he wanted the commission. After what I heard today I know there’s a good possibility that Verizon employees can’t be truly trusted. That’s a horrible feeling especially when I have never questioned that and I really like being with verizon. I don’t know if it’s smart to stay with Verizon after this. This third time I go to pick up my order and it’s not there again well then the choice is obvious to find another carrier. 
very sad Verizon and I’m shocked employees feel so comfortable openly talking about hustling  customers in a store full of them.  Very sad and disappointing.
