Our Fios line was cut two weeks ago and we were told a permanent line would be dropped and buried within 7-9 days. We scheduled a big landscaping job a week after that 7 day expectation and now the job is happening and we still have a temp line. We have had Miss Utility come out and mark, and then we have continued to re-mark because that paint has faded. I have been calling and spent hours on hold to be told no date was ever booked (a VERIZON ERROR) and the earliest they can come to us is in a week. This is absurd. If this project is destroyed by the crew that buries the line due to their scheduling error, Verizon will be on the hook for repair costs. This temp line is also running across three neighbors’ yards - so thanks for inconveniencing everyone. This 20 year customer is appalled at the lack of decent customer service to make it right.
