Last Friday 8/16, a wind storm dislodged the Verizon land line between the pole and our house. The line is now about 1 to 2 feet above the grass in our front yard. I've confirmed via markings on the equipment that it is a Verizon landline. While we do not have Verizon home phone service since we moved here in 2015, The line will either need to be re-secured to both ends (pole, home entrance). Alternatively, if this is a service no longer offered by Verizon, the line will need to be cut at the pole to ensure electrical safety when removing from the house.
