Last Friday 8/16, a wind storm dislodged the Verizon land line between the pole and our house. The line is now about 1 to 2 feet above the grass in our front yard. I've confirmed via markings on the equipment that it is a Verizon landline. While we do not have Verizon home phone service since we moved here in 2015, The line will either need to be re-secured to both ends (pole, home entrance). Alternatively, if this is a service no longer offered by Verizon, the line will need to be cut at the pole to ensure electrical safety when removing from the house. Please advise on method and projected date of removal. Sincerely, Paul
