I was driving on Lyons Mill Road (between Deer Park Road and Liberty Road) in Randallstown, MD on the late afternoon of October 24,2024 around 4:15PM- I heard a loud bang on the roof of the car due to a large cable coming down. Because it is a narrow road, and there was oncoming traffic, I hac no option but to drive along until I was able to pull over.
I thought it was a power line (BGE) and, after reporting it, filed a damage report with pictures. The BGE Claims representative just called me to advise it was a Verizon line, NOT a power one . BGE had received 3 other reports of the same incident and they determined it was VZN line.
Is there a way to file a damage report on line (like BGE has)?? Or is there a phone number I can use/
