Connection to mail server where my web application is hosted

I'm trying to connect to the smtp mail server run on my web application host (mail.hhraweb.com). I can't seem to get to it anymore on port 25

c:\users\dad>telnet mail.hhraweb.com 25
Connecting To mail.hhraweb.com...Could not open connection to the host, on port
25: Connect failed

My ? is, is Verizon blocking access to other mail servers on port 25?
