Exposed Fios Cable

VDOT exposed my Fios cable doing street gutter maintenance. How do I get it reburied before it is damaged? Ticket#{edited for privacy}was created, but nothing has been done other than a Verizon agent coming to the property to verify the problem and paint-mark the cable.
