Hello:
I work in construction/development and have been told by Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) that I need to get a Verizon utility pole guy wire adjusted in order to correct an ADA violation.
The guy wire in question is located at the intersection of MD 450 and Vista Gardens Lane in Lanham, Maryland.
The violation is that the guy wire has less than 80" of clearance over the edge of the sidewalk. SHA measured the clearance as 77", so a minor adjustment to the anchor point height should resolve the situation.
Is there a local point of contact for a situation like this?
