Someone is sending SPAM to people in my contact list using my verizon.net email address. The email actually appears to come from me. Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have a remedy?

Change your password and secret question/answer to something new and complex, and run a virus scan.

Happening to me too. I did that but the emails are still being sent. They are still in queue I guess? Is there a way to know if the hacker already has any personal information? Should I change my email?

First, verify hat new messages are still being sent. It's possible that you are still getting bouncebacks from messages sent before you made the changes.
