How does webmail work with subaccounts?

I wanted to check mail for a subaccount using webmail, but if I sign in as that user, I get some grand message that this will now be my new single user UserID for everything and that it's nonreversible!
WHY??
I just want to check mail for that account, I don't want to change my UserID! There's no reason for this.
But if I log in with my main (parent) account, I can't find a way to check the mail on my subaccounts. There seems to be no way to do it, or it's really, really, buried. I could a few years back though.

You have to sign in as the sub account in order to check the mail for the sub account, or set it up in an email client on your pc.
The message being displayed is *probably* only referring to the sub account, but I would contact Verizon just to be sure. Logging into the sub account should not affect your primary account at all.
