New Port Setting for Improved Email Security

Appreciate if Verizon would indicate if use of only port 465 along with connection security (SSL/TLS) will be mandatory and the date. Present notice justifies a change from port 25 which was done years ago (now using 587) but does not indicate if mandatory. Concern is that code written based on VB.NET cannot handle. Ed

Good Morning,

At this time if you are DHCP you cannot use port 25. Unfortunately we cannot inform whether this information will change or not, however at this time port 25 is no longer being used.
