Why has the Saved Payment Information disappeared from my profile? I logged in to My Verizon to pay my bill and got a message that I recently made changes to my profile, and that I need to verify my identity. I hadn't made any changes, but I verified my ID to be able to continue. I navigated to bill pay, and discovered that my payment information was gone and that I had to re-enter it.
I called Verizon customer service, but nobody could give me an explanation. I got the usual excuses, "Maybe there was a glitch in the system" or "Maybe the people who maitain the website made some changes." I need to know the reason why my info is gone. Did someone hack the website???
If Verizon made changes to customers' profiles, it should notify us that it has done so,
