I paid a collection debt accounts on 02/28/2020, and was told a letter will be faxed on letterhead stating the account was paid and closed, as requested. I did not receive the fax, but I did receive an email stating the account was paid, but the email did not include the account number. My mortgage loan officer will not accept the email. They require a letter on Verizon's letterhead only!
I called Verizon Wireless four times trying to obtain a letter on letterhead, but to no avail. I have ask to speak with a supervisor who I have been unable to talk to. Isn't this a communication company? Why is it so difficult to get this document???

I am going through the same issue. My apartment manager is asking for a paid in full letterhead that NO ONE is being able to provide. I have spent over 5 days on calls bouncing from department to department. Its frustrating that something so simple cant be resolved.
